Fall Workshop Scheduled

This is the first announcement for the SWTIA Fall Workshop.
The SWTIA Fall Workshop will be held at the Best Western Nor'Wester Hotel in Thunder Bay on Tuesday, Oct 7th and Wednesday, October 8th.
The SWTIA Fall Business meeting will be held in the late afternoon on Tuesday, October 7th and will be followed by a reception and dinner open to all attending the workshop. The Fall Workshop will be held on Wednesday, October 8th with presentations during the morning and a field trip of local tree improvement sites in the afternoon.
This year the workshop will include presentations on the impacts of climate change on tree improvement as well as other tree improvement topics. Speakers at the workshop will include Avery Dorland, Forest Geneticist and Nursery Coordinator, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, Steve Colombo, Research Scientist, MNR and Bill Parker, Professor, LU.
I will post another announcement with more detailed information closer to the workshop. Meanwhile, Paul would appreciate it if you could let him know at your earliest convenience if you plan to attend all or part of the SWTIA fall workshop. Email Paul Charrette with your intentions.
